Jazz Memorabilia Exhibit

Paul Starks, a collector of jazz memorabilia and photographs.  part of his collection will be on display in the Arts Center Gallery this month.  This event is also intended to publicize and support Stark's pet project.  He accepts donated musical instruments, including keyboards, brass and strings, has them refurbished as needed and provides them to students who have a desire to learn music, but may not be able to purchase them on their own.  In support for his cot of refurbishment, the jazz group "Beneath The Surface" with Carlotta Diggs, will perform on October 11 and 12.
